Wheat Kings - U17 double up Wild - U17

Winnipeg, MB – Maden Simard scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Wheat Kings - U17 to a 4-2 triumph over the Wild - U17 at HFAC - Subway on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Wheat Kings - U17 was Max RobertsSoren MilneEthen Church chipping in with a goal each. Gavyn Yon added two assists. Goaltender Urijah Moosetail turned aside 14 shots for the Wheat Kings - U17 in the victory.

Finding the twine for the Wild - U17 was Miles Joss and Brody Huver each tallying single markers. Goaltender Michael Kenny made 39 saves in the loss for the Wild - U17.

With the victory, the Wheat Kings - U17 improve to 28-3-2-0 while the Wild - U17 fall to 12-17-3-1.
