Fehr strikes twice, Hawks - U17 squeak past Lightning - U17
Stonewall, MB – Ocean Fehr scored two goals including his eighth goal of the season with 18:18 remaining in the second period and to guide the Hawks - U17 to a 5-4 conquest over the Lightning - U17 at Stonewall VMSC on Saturday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Hawks - U17 was Kai Hildebrand and Corby Stemkoski and Aaron Hiebert contributing with a goal each. Hildebrand and Alexander Hartmann each added two assists. Goaltender Koen Bleznuk turned aside 34 shots for the Hawks - U17 in the win.
Cashing in for the Lightning - U17 was Eastyn Bochurka, Nate Hulme, Hudson Sigurdson and Tavyn Sigurdson each adding single tallies. Bochurka and Lucas Miller each added two assists. Goaltender Owen Coe made 25 saves in the loss for the Lightning - U17.
With the win, the Hawks - U17 improve to 11-21-0-1 while the Lightning - U17 fall to 7-20-5-0.
