Noah Bonds scored two goals to help secure the Thrashers - U17 a victory in a 5-1 defeat over the Selects - U17 at Garson on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Thrashers - U17 was Nolan Edmonds and Liam Flett and Russell (Junior) Aitkenhead each contributing with single markers. Edmonds added two assists. Goaltender Will Paskaruk turned aside 33 shots for the Thrashers - U17 in the victory.

The win snapped the Thrashers - U17's three-game losing skid.

Tallying the only goal for the Selects - U17 was and Michael Eastman, his 12th of the season. Goaltender Carter Warren made 37 saves in the loss for the Selects - U17.

With the victory, the Thrashers - U17 improve to 17-14-2-0 while the Selects - U17 fall to 15-14-2-2.
