Dupuis tallies four, Wheat Kings - U17 top Lightning - U17
Stonewall, MB – Matthew Dupuis scored four goals as the Wheat Kings - U17 extended its winning streak to three games with a 7-1 victory over the Lightning - U17 at Stonewall VMSC on Sunday.
Completing the scoring for for the Wheat Kings - U17 was Luke Krieser and Brett Jackson and Ty Aldcroft chipping in with a goal each. Maden Simard added three assists, Ty Cowan and Soren Milne each added two assists. Goaltender Sawyer Wallin turned aside 25 shots for the Wheat Kings - U17 in the victory.
Tallying the only goal for the Lightning - U17 was and Cohen Constant, his sixth of the season. Goaltender Braedan Cormack made 20 saves in the loss for the Lightning - U17.
With the victory, the Wheat Kings - U17 improve to 29-3-2-0 while the Lightning - U17 fall to 7-21-5-0.
